Recently I have quite a bit of free time, alas I am not being productive. Must be the winter blues. It's really cold in the flats at this time of year as well - no central heating.

I'm hoping that after the Valentine's day I can buy lots of cheap chocolate.

It's getting warmer again, unlike in Latvia where it's anywhere from -10C to -20C...

Snow bombs?

No way is anyone going out today. It's been snowing forever. Doesn't seem to let up at all. The snow is around 50cm, I am told. But obviously in places it's much more than that. It's the return of real winters here.

Back home

So I'm home again for the holidays. Nothing much exciting yet, as we don't particularly celebrate Christmas.

This time round I spent about 30 hours in travel. I keep waking up at 5:30 and going to bed at 9... Obviously no one's up at that time. The internet's great though :D

 At the Kansai airport there were cool wind sculptures on the ceiling.

This was the first time I was flying over a winter landscape. The previous two winters Shiv came over.
